So took the new '08 out this weekend. My brother ended up putting a big rock (4") through the passenger floor board.

What's the best way to repair and the guard against future carnage?

I have a hole in my passenger floor also, and i never thought anything of it either.now every time ,i mean every single time, a stick always manages to find its way back through the floorboards.I bought the floor thing from eBay,no more problems.

^ similar to what happened to mine except mine didn't come through the floor it just cracked the plastic

I got these at hunterworks after I poked a hole through.. These just cover the damage. They are only held in place with self tapping screws into the plastic. I added some bolts with vinyly nuts so they didn't pop up every time something hits the floor.. On my next Rhino, I will just put the floor protector skid plates on the underside before the first ride...

I fixed my hole by stitching it back together with pull ties.

Look on ebay, they have diamond plate floorboards and guards for underneath.I put both on my 05 rhino, it had a busted floorboard when I got it.You can drill out the factory rivets ( that hold the floor boards on ) and put self-tapping screws through the diamond plate floorboards to hold them tight. The underneath guards come with all the hardware and instructions. The seller I got mine from is leroy870 , I think. If you ride in the woods, your going to bust your floorboards without these guards!
